I have seen one in my garden and one on the beach at Almyrida but my wife Jacky has seen a pair a few times walking along our dirt and gravel track whilst sampling the insects and worms to take back to their young.

Anyhow, see below my journal which I should have started sixteen years ago but instead we'll take the plunge in 2026. Most of my sightings will be through our kitchen window unless Jacky is at home when I can go outside.
